NDA Intelligence and Personality Test
The SSB process is divided into two phases i.e. stage I and stage II. Aspirants declared qualified in stage I can only appear for stage II.
- Stage I include Officer Intelligence Rating (OIR) tests are Picture Perception and Description Test (PP&DT). Aspirants will be shortlisted based on their performance in the OIR Test and PP&DT.
- Stage II includes Interviews, Group Testing Officer Tasks, Psychology Tests and the Conference. These rounds will be held over 4 days.
- The aspirant's personality shall be evaluated by three different assessors i.e. Interviewing Officer (IO), the Group Testing Officer (GTO) and the Psychologist.
NDA Medical Examination
- Aspirants recommended by the Services Selection Board (SSB) will be shortlisted for the medical examination (Special Medical Board) by a Board of Service Medical Officers.
- Those who will be declared fit by the Medical Board will secure admission to the Academy.
- Aspirants deemed unfit will receive their results and information about the Appeal Medical Board (AMB) process from the Medical Board President.
- The AMB is to be conducted at a Command Hospital or equivalent and must be completed within 42 days of the Special Medical Board.
- Aspirants declared unfit by the Appeal Medical Board (AMB) can request a Review Medical Board (RMB) within one day of the AMB's completion.
