Medical Examination After SSB

  • Only recommended candidates undergo detailed medical checkups.

  • After clearing the SSB, candidates are sent for a comprehensive medical examination at military hospitals. 

  • Tests include eyesight, dental, hearing, X-ray, blood & urine tests, height & weight standards, etc. Candidates must meet the prescribed NDA medical requirements to be declared fit.

Final Merit List

  • The final merit is prepared based on the written exam and the SSB interview.

  • UPSC releases the final NDA merit list after combining marks of the written exam and SSB Interview. 

  • Candidates who rank high and are medically fit get admission to the National Defence Academy.
