The Indian Army have released the TGC 143 Merit List (July 2026) Course on its official website. Candidates who applied for the course can check the merit list now. It comprises the names and roll numbers of selected candidates.
The TGC 143 merit list is available in a PDF file. A total of 58 candidates have been recommended across Civil, Computer Science, Electrical, Electronics, etc. Documentation and the results of medical exams have not been taken into account in preparing the merit list.
TGC 143 Merit List Out
The Indian Army has released 30 vacancies for eligible unmarried Male Engineering Graduates for the 143rd Technical Graduate Course (TGC-143) commencing in Jul 2026 at the IMA Dehradun for Permanent Commission.
The selection will be made based on shortlisting of applications, SSB Interview, and Medical Exam. The TGC 143 merit list PDF has been announced. Candidates whose names and roll numbers are featured in the merit list are declared successful.
Those who have not submitted copies of all semester marksheets, Degree, Provisional degree certificate and other documents must submit self-attested scanned copies on the 'Feedback/Query' option.
Joining Letters (JL) will be issued as per merit, subject to Vacancy, Medical Fitness, and submission of the requisite documents. Candidates should also meet all eligibility criteria as per the course notification. Please note that inclusion of the name in the merit list does not confirm the issue of the joining letter to the aspirant.

What is the TGC 143 Selection Process?
The TGC 143 selection procedure is as follows:
- Shortlisting of Applications: Integrated HQ of MoD (Army) shortlists applications based on the vacancy-to-call-up ratio for each Engineering discipline/stream.
- SSB Interview: Only shortlisted eligible candidates, depending on the cutoff percentage, will be interviewed at one of the Selection Centres by a Psychologist, a Group Testing Officer and an Interviewing Officer. Aspirants will undergo a two-stage selection procedure. Those who clear Stage-1 will go to Stage-2. Those who fail in Stage-1 will be returned on the same day. The duration of SSB interviews is five days.
