The Indian Army has released the notification for the 142nd Technical Graduate Course (TGC-142) scheduled to begin in January 2026 at the Indian Military Academy (IMA), Dehradun.
This course offers Permanent Commission to unmarried male engineering graduates who meet the required eligibility conditions.

To apply for the Indian Army TGC-142 Recruitment 2026, candidates must fulfill certain eligibility conditions related to nationality, age, educational qualification, and physical fitness. Must have completed BE/B.Tech or be in the final year of Engineering. Final year students must produce proof of passing their degree by 01 January 2026. Candidates whose final exam is scheduled after 01 January 2026 are NOT eligible. 2.4 km run – 10 min 30 sec Push-ups – 40 Pull-ups – 6 Sit-ups – 30 Squats – 2 sets of 30 reps Lunges – 2 sets of 10 reps Swimming – Must know basics Mismatch in Stream Name (degree vs application) → candidature cancelled.
