To share its message against terrorism and build stronger global ties, India has sent a group of MPs from different political parties to several countries, and their final stop was Madrid, Spain, where they met with the Indian community, local leaders, and experts.

Most significant aspect of the visit was to explain India’s efforts to fight against terrorism, especially from Pakistan and also to promote international unity by showcasing that India is united and serious about stopping extremism through its campaign called “Operation Sindoor.”

India’s Anti-Terror Mission Reaches Madrid With Kanimozhi Leading the Delegation

Led by DMK MP Kanimozhi Karunanidhi, an all-India party parliamentary delegation, arrived in Madrid, Spain, for the final leg of their international visit and were welcomed by India’s Ambassador to Spain, Dinesh K Patnaik.

The purpose for the delegation meeting the Indian community in Spain is to understand their views and share the Indian government’s stand against terrorism, especially that of the Prime Minister, AAP MP Dr. Ashok Kumar Mittal explained.

The group is also meeting Spanish government officials, policy think tanks, and parliament members during their visit.

The most significant message of this delegation meeting is India’s stance against terrorism and the country’s promotion of international cooperation.

Dr. Mittal highlighted India’s success in “Operation Sindoor,”as an initiative to counter extremism and Pakistan-sponsored terrorism, emphasizing that India is determined to eliminate such threats both at home and abroad.

Along with former Indian diplomats, other members of the delegation included MPs from various political parties like the Samajwadi Party, BJP, AAP, RJD, and Jammu & Kashmir National Conference.

India’s Ambassador Namrata S Kumar, in Latvia, said the delegation had effectively communicated how terrorism across-border, especially from Pakistan, threatens not just India but the entire world. She further stressed upon the need for international cooperation against the terrorism that aims to divide societies.

This delegation meeting led by Dravida Munnetra Kazhagam (DMK) MP Kanimozhi Karunanidhi, is actually a part of a broader diplomatic initiative by India to build international unity against terrorism and strengthen ties with countries worldwide.
